Materials
Solid C360 brass body with a replaceable hardened carbon steel blade. Carbon steel takes a finer edge than stainless and dulls sooner, which is a good trade when a spare blade costs almost nothing.
Care
Change the blade when the point starts coming out ragged rather than clean — usually after a couple of hundred pencils. Do not wash it; graphite dust brushes out.
